Beau dans ma tête: the recipe for well-being

What is the best way to be happy?

"Beau dans ma tête" is a documentary series exploring the science of well-being and mental health across twelve accessible, research-backed episodes rooted in local science.

Brief: a warm visual identity

For this project, we were brought on to develop a warm visual identity and produce the full graphic package for the series. Each video tackled a specific theme tied to mental health and well-being. From sleep to memory to the parental brain, each episode translates the psychology of happiness with clarity and sensitivity.

Creative direction and visual identity

For the art direction, we drew from the world of curiosity cabinets and vintage design to build a warm, textured visual identity. Guided by three keywords: 70s, vintage, and handmade (DIY), the aesthetic leans on a printed effect and psychedelic line work evoking imperfection and a human touch. The orange, red, and cream palette reinforces the warmth and emotional tone of the content.

Lower thirds and typography

We designed a series of unique title treatments for different segments of the show, each with its own personality. The overall package also includes name lower thirds and definition cards, so every element contributes to the series' character. The pairing of a classic sans-serif with a serif font balances scientific rigor with a retro spirit.
