IA: l'angle mort / AI: the blind spot
A human perspective on an automated world
IA: l'angle mort is the first French-language documentary to expose the hidden dangers of artificial intelligence. In a world where algorithms shape our lives without transparency, the film questions the impact of automated decision-making on equality and social justice.
Brief: an analog visual identity
We designed an art direction and visual identity that pushes back against the typical tech look, leaning instead into an analog, crafted, handmade approach. Inspired by collage, the aesthetic evokes stop motion: choppy animation, imperfect movement, and cut paper textures that call back to the physicality of the human gesture.

Creative direction and visual identity
Photos are treated in duotone and halftone, with rough, irregular outlines, while the illustrations retain a tangible texture. The retro typography, combining Obviously Condensed Bold and Manofa Bold, translates the balance between rigor and expressiveness.
In opposition: colors and texture choices
The desaturated color palette, inspired by paper and the analog world, deliberately pushes back against the futuristic imagery typically associated with AI, keeping the human element front and center.
