In this hard-hitting series, Dr. Alain Vadeboncoeur, emergency physician, explores 7 different threats that can end a life: electrocution, car accident, poisoning, hypothermia, overdose, heart attack, and respiratory arrest. Each episode breaks down a life-threatening danger while explaining how it affects the human body.

Creative direction and visual identity

We developed the full graphic package and produced 14 thirty-second documentary animation segments, combining flat color illustration with a line-based style and a color palette drawn from the show's set design. The result balances seriousness with visual clarity.

Series concept

The series blends accessible science communication with medical discussion through a pedagogical approach. Viewers discover the strategies used by doctors and specialists to counter these emergencies, with a touch of dark humor that keeps the content approachable without losing its edge.

Typography treatment

The Obviously typeface was chosen for its flexibility, allowing weight and style variations depending on the shot, reinforcing the readability and visual impact of the lower thirds and episode titles.
